The CILT International qualifications in Logistics and Transport is focused on developing knowledge and understanding. CILT qualifications will build on your knowledge and skills and provide you with an internationally recognised qualification.

Course Structure

To achieve the CILT International Diploma in Logistics and Transport, all candidates must study and pass:

[1 Mandatory Unit] + [1 or 2 Electives] + [1 or 2 Optional Units]

Tailor your Diploma by majoring in one of three areas:

Procurement Major

Learn core principles, concepts and practical applications of procurement

Mandatory: DIP-01 Management in Logistics and Transport

Elective: DIP-02 Supply Chain Management

Option: DIP-10 Sourcing and Procurement

Option: DIP-15 Project Management

Supply Chain Major

Gain knowledge and practical skills in supplier relationships, ethics and asset management

Mandatory: DIP-01 Management in Logistics and Transport

Elective: DIP-02 Supply Chain Management

Option: DIP-17 Supply Chain Network Planning

Option: DIP-16 Supply Chain Flow Planning

Transport Major

Acquire a sound foundation for a career in transport with essential management and operational skills

Mandatory: DIP-01 Management in Logistics and Transport

Elective: DIP-03 Transport Operations

Elective: DIP-04 Transport Planning Option: DIP-06 Movement of Goods

Option: DIP-07 Movement of People

Course Format

Students are required to complete a minimum of 4 units to be awarded the CILT International Diploma. The total number of units studied will depend on the students selected major.

Each unit is delivered through a combination of online facilitated workshops and self-paced reading and e-Learning.

Assessment includes in-class participation, group presentation and an assignment.

6 sessions per unit

Held weekly 6pm-9pm AEDT/AEST (18 hours per unit)

Structure: Minimum 4 units
